So after 11 months of driving a desk I'm back in a truck and back on the road terrorizing the motoring public.
I'm actually in a yard truck from the Toledo terminal down here in Waco, TX picking up a machine going back to Ontario. I brought 2 new 35 ton stretch RGN's to the Waxahachie operations then in a couple weeks I'll take a slip seat truck with 2 more stretch RGN's and a flip axle to the main office in Arlington where I'll pick up my new truck and head back to Kansas and back on the wing team. Been a year since I went down the road 20' wide so running a couple small loads to get back in the groove.
Family is still in Ohio but when the word came we were going home to Kansas my wife had the entire house packed up in 24 hours. I think she's standing in the middle of the street watching for the moving truck that isn't supposed to arrive till next Thursday. (If your an Allied driver near Toledo and you see a crazed woman in a jacked up F250 trying to run you down you'll now understand) I have to give her credit, she put on a good face moving to the big city but the truth came out the instant I said we were going home.
I'm Back!
