I'm home--got in Monday AM--only to find out--my number came up for the 2d time this year--so had to trudge off to my favorite Concentra--and sit there for an hour or so--and have the privilege of listening to a dozen or so lying ######## about how they got hurt on the job and much dope they need to feel better...or some other stupid ####...would've been almost as amusing as suppertime at a truckstop...if the whole #### scene wasn't so pathetic......![]()

Sheesh! #1 was pick up docs are Fast Freight. Pickup freight at KLM and deliver to Fedex some 8-10 miles away. Got a call twice asking me where I was because I guess Fast Freight had a burr under their saddle.
Then because Roland was out of the office the girl wants me took hook the trailer.
Having never even contemplated doing so and since the keys to unlock the trailer were in my truck I went to the office. The mechanic had taken my truck to get it aligned.
We had determined my inner tie rod ends were ok. The alignment place didn't think so.
So while there I paid for said ends. And we determined I should buy a 4 prong to 6 prong adapter and have no brakes. But then she says I'm taking that off you and hurry to Panalpina to get 4 crates for SDV. And forgot all about hurrying when you get to Panalpina!!! -
More stuff done today and more to be done tomorrow... I think will have my vehicle starter replaced before it leaves me stranded somewhere... I'm still rushing here... tired... have not relaxed during this so called "hometime"...
And don't think will be able to relax much anyway...
it will have to be during my next 34 reset on the road...
Bought another laptop... a Dell this time... and gotta install my wireless card and printer now... make sure everything is working fine before I hit the road again... for the next 3 months... -
Sounds great Pete! But I'll bet you can find some way to break it before you get all the way back to the barn!

Just had the one on the wife's car replaced. While it didn't exactly leave her "stranded" (it refused to start right here at the house, and she had a choice of a couple of others to drive,) it did add a tow bill to the cost of the starter replacement.
Rocks Thanks this. -
Leaving out the yard now...
Against my best wishes I'm being sent to Flori-duh w/7 drops..
Suppose to be reloading tee-maters right back up..
can't wait. -
all my cars are 20 years old
AAA should drop me
