Did you get it back?

 

since i've been getting stuck with a 53' swinging door trailer in the city on a regular bases. is it against the law to tie the doors back and work the area and not get on interstate?

 

I've done that but only while in a industrial park .....i think you could get a ticket for unsecure load tho , im not sure

 

When I did flatbed a few years back, I left my prybar on the deck and it rolled off someplace. I retraced my steps a never saw it. It is amazing how fast stuff disappears.

was going down us 23 a few years back and lost the left side front tandem assembly on the trailer. bearing seized took both tires and brake drum with it. was there a warning sign yes!!!

in stop and go rush hour traffic i kept smelling hot brakes, and i thought it's not me no smoke, had only been driving a few miles and air pressure was good, figured it was another truck ahead of me with a stuck brake. opps!

thankfully tires came off once i got into the open hwy section, never found the tires.

 

If I'm traveling empty with no seal on the trailer doors, I slip a carabiner through the right door latch to keep it from popping open. No big thing if I forget to remove it if I drop the trailer.

 

I saw Reddaway rolling down Hwy 30 in Portland bout to get on 405 with his roll door up and stuff all the way to the back. At least the pallet jack was in its wheel donut.
