Happy Thanksgiving

I was supposed to be on the road, but got the worst case of strep throat I've ever had. Had to drop my trailer and bobtail home. Laid up in the bed taking antibiotics and prednisone.

 

Ouch. Get to feeling better. Nobody likes that crap. If you need it, PM me for a homemade cough suppressant.

 

I've never had strep throat, and for this year and several in the past I won't be home for the holidays.
I seem to think that both are due more to the choices we make.

While it won't be for the holiday date, I'll be home early next week to enjoy cooking that big turkey dinner.

DUDE! Tht prednisone is cRAZY! It also seems to be their drug of choice at the moment - I messed up on the dosage, it was supposed to be "Take 3 tablets 1 time a day for 1 day, then take 1 tablet 3 times a day . . . . blah de blah"

I wound up taking 3 - 3 times a day for a couple of days. After I'd split 3 ricks of firewood, washed the car till the paint came off, mowed all the lawns in a 12 mile radius . . . . wondered why I wasn't tired enough and couldn't sleep, I figured it out.

Apparently I'm broken. I take them and go right back to bed. Honestly it doesn't feel like they do anything.

 

I was on the road and was pissed I couldn't get a dinner anywhere typical bs burrito and boiled eggs and potato chips .

 

We made pork loin and potatoes in the crockpot.

Called it "purkey". Lol.
