I think most will agree the oil patch can be very rough. Financially brutal if you are geared up for current production, and suddenly they move or stop. If you are in the right area, at the right time I t can be great. Problem is these guys move plays with no notice. Connections are crucial. Here in the Barnett we were going great guns in 2004 to early 2009. Then it just dried up and most everything shifted to several plays. I still stand by there is a day coming with gas, not oil, where a lot of holes that are waiting completion will kick in. The infrastructure isn't ready for full NG production. Do I know when this is going to happen? Sorry no crystal ball.

I'm driving a vaccum truck now in the eagle ford. Its slowed down the last month..if the oil stays below 65 it will slow way down. Its what the co men are telling me anyway. I'm gonna get out before it pops. I can always come back when,or if,it kicks off again.

I was primed to go haul frac sand for a heavy hitter in the frac sand hauling business...was told to stay where I was or do something else for awhile. Disappointed as I was gonna stash a lot if cash back for a new challenger hellcat.

That Hellcat sounds fun. Not anywhere around here that I could drive one to it's potential and have a chance in hell of holding on to any kind of a drivers license though.

We have a drag strip where stock cars can rum for time. Do mods at home to see improvement. Looks like by the opening market this morning I will keep driving my old car! Lol
