CRST MALONE "Stay away from their lease purchase". I worked there about 9mths, you are paying into maintanance account that you will have no control of and they will not let you go outside their facility for anything except tire repairs and then they wanna push recap tires on, sometimes putting used parts on from wrecked trucks, but overall I had $10,200 in the maintanance account and at no time they will let outside do any work on your truck and they hold you up going to the couple of the shops and its a total disaster in the making going thru their lease plan.

I actually pulled a 13' wide dump body out of Laredo, TX for these guys. While the terminal was kind of out there from town, they were nice as hell even though I wasn't actually from the company. Had showers and a decent enough lounge (though no towels for the shower, ah well, in Texas you dry off quick anyway.) See they had alot of dry vans too, but plenty of open-deck freight.
What's Keim starting drivers at these days? After getting out of a 387 with the short flat-top sleeper, I wouldn't mind and 86" studio again.
Though, I will miss those 600 horses behind that 18 speed.

ATS is going to hell slowly, painfully. Since the first of the year, everything is haywire.
The best part of ATS are your memories.
Forget ATS. I am posting a few bits here about what's happening there now. None of it is good. Just heard about another bit of bad news this morning. I won't report it here until I verify it, OK?Last edited by a moderator: Feb 27, 2014

dannythetrucker Thanks this. -
I'd like to hear anything good or bad about Tennent, I see they pull a lot of machinery out of port of Baltimore, I talked to them a year or two ago and they sounded like a good company. Anybody have any stories to share?

maverick stedpdecks are mainly used for hauling loads of flat glass that is out in the open all loads had to be tarped when hauling glass I have been with maverick for just over two years in there glass division its a lot work unloading and loading can take anywhere from 2-6 hours by the time you secure the load to tarping it the one benefit is that all of it is done inside since the glass cant get wet. We do haul other general flatbed freight when the glass season is dead during the winter and as backhauls mainly out of Canada. you wil start out at 50 cpm and can get pay for performance bonus every quarter that is paid out weekly the following quarter and that ranges from an additional 1-6cents
