    Somewhere in WV.
I'm headed to Chambersburg, PA for a morning delivery at Target, then I'm headed to MI with a heavy load of water.

I'm not sure if it's due to my Platinum status, but the pplan procedure has been different lately.
I'll get a pplan, and fifteen minutes or so after reading or hearing it I'll get a message that 15 minutes have passed and please respond with a Mac9.
If I don't respond within about 30-45 minutes it is taken off me.

I once got what I thought was a Mac30 load listing.
It had 3 loads, asking me to respond (Y) to one of them.
Too little information on any of them to make me want to respond, so I just ignored it.

Yesterday 2 loads were removed because my schedule was too tight to respond to them in time. I had just listened to 'Jill', but they were deemed read.
Sorry, but if you want me to accept a load - at least give me enough time do so!

But I'm getting the hang of this new system.
Simply, just ignore what I don't want to take for an hour and it will be removed.

The pplan this afternoon was just crazy.
Pick up by 1200 and deliver the first stop at 2030, deliver the second stop at 2200 and get to the final by 0800.
All of 300 miles loaded, on a Walmart dedicated run.
And that was after I delivered my current load at 0901.
I must assume the computer/planners are smoking or injecting something funny.

If this is the result of me being Platinum, I think I might just reduce my miles enough to get back to Gold.

Moose, that has been around for some time now. Every once in a while that 15 min thing will kick in. I can count on 2 hands the number of times that it has happened to me in the last 4 years. That was probably a MAC 30 type offer. That is the issue with it. Not enough info. They were supposed to fix that so that you can see more. Many times I have seen one on MAC 30 and accepted and then get all the info and refuse it and get some grief. But I just tell them. Received all of the info and realize that it will not work.

    HousTank and Moosetek13 Thank this.

Back at the Peelot here in London. Went into the office this morning and was talking the night DM and he was telling me that PHX is trying to crack down on us O/O here at this account from using line 5 to get from the DC to the T/S and back. Saying that it is against DOT to be using it to get from a Customer to safe haven and back again. Here we go again with Swift wanting to interpret the rules different from what they are.

The DC is a defacto 'terminal' which is one of the legal ways to move with personal conveyance (line 5) so long as you are going to return back to the DC (terminal). I would challenge them to the hilt on that. They cannot terminate any independent contractor's contract for that.

It is a violation if the contractor runs line 5 when the qualcomm shows negative time though. It would also be a violation to return back to the DC line 5 under dispatch if they sent you a preplan that you accepted while you were at the truck stop. So in that situation I would recommend line 5 out to the truck stop, do not read any preplan messages til you got back to the DC after your 10 hour break. What's funny is they have absolutely no problem with drivers running around inside the DC or terminals Off Duty while dropping and hooking or otherwise doing 'work' to preserve their clocks. I knew guys who would do everything they could Off Duty and not go On Duty/ Pretrip til they got out the gates then pull over to the side of the road for x amount of minutes to show the on duty time on the elogs then proceed.

Sitting on the side of the road is stupid ... 15 minutes is 15 minutes ... just edit it in.

True, doesn't make sense to sit there.

Doing my break at the Hwy 20 Plaza outside of Dubuque IA, live unload in the morning.

Darn planners got to me before my window to access Mac30 opened. Got hung with a heavy Purina going to Buffalo NY. I don't think it's stopped snowing there since before Thanksgiving. Upside is the delivery times are perfect with no excess wasted time.

a lot of the Targets are nice to shop at, some things are more expensive though compared to Walmart so I only shop once in awhile, being on the account its a huge pro that im going to Target stores daily so I can always shop if needed.

Off duty/sleeper status to On duty status edits they don't care about ... it's excessive editing of on duty status to off duty status that attracts their attention ... trust me I know.

North Baltimore, OH. As far as my HOS would allow me to go after del 5 stop in the Detroit area. On my way this morning saw that needed some fuel and was going to stop in Findlay to get some until I saw this small place in Kenton, OH across from International Paper. Diesel, $3.24/gal. Yes I did stop and get as much as I could fit.
