Hey Dave... do you think I should have taken that Sam Houston Pkwy to avoid the evening rush hr traffic jam? Would that have saved me some time?

I was going to... but at the last minute decided to save the co. money and stayed on US 59 N to I-10 east... at 17:20... Good grief...

Now I am at a big rest area with no restroom in LA... Going to deliver in NJ on Monday morning...

 

Sittin at the house--on my 4th call w/the brain trust..tryin to work out next weeks fun..lol....and come to find out out NE truck(that makes pics from N Maine down on Thur/Fri--is runnin almost 24 hours behind--and my last 2 Texas drops are on his wagon--he's hopin to be back around 3pm Sun---nothing like startin out 8-10hrs late---LOL
BTW--anybody ever been to Meijer in Middlebury IN? Didn't even know they had one there--wondering if you can get there early and park?

Course the Meijer parking question is now moot..since I have a 5am Monday--and by all estimation--Ill be lucky IF their freight is here by 6pm sunday...but ya gotta luv it---dozen stops--startin in In endin in laredo?
I really start to wonder sometimes--if they just take all the paperwork--throw it on the floor and route it in the order they pick it up!
and of course this mornings phone call is ALWAYS one of my fav's
I had you on your normal deal cross the bottom....but it was an easy one--and the couple of different guys I had for this one--wont EVER get it done b4 Christmas..and youll be back by Saturday.....
