    Day 2 of orientation. Mind overload. Lol. Pretty sure once Im settled in, and get used to the way they operate things will be OK. Im ready to meet my DM, and get my truck.

    Sitting just north of Houston waiting to pick up a load to Kearney, Nebraska tomorrow...got down here from NC after I dropped my load in Charleston...these long deadheads ain't no fun sometimes but it all pays I guess

    What's wrong with a long deadhead? That's when I work hard to bring my mpg's up.

    Orientation complete. Got my truck, and also got a load picking up in Elk City, Ok going to Gas City Indiana. Im ready to run. Lets Go.

    I called and asked, and the shipper said they were loading the trucks that were there and waiting. Also said if they have time they would pre-load my load. Not sure what Im supposed to read??

    Nevermind I do have something to read. LOL. Shipper said my load wouldn't take to long to load. I suppose I could be in for a long day. I have never loaded at this customer before, so IDK how long it takes to load. Don gave me his book as a Christmas Present, so I will have something to read if needed.

    Hehe Ive lucked out and was preloaded 2 of 3 times Ive picked up there...always out of hours though so I had to park across the road in that cul-de-sac deal. One time I was live loaded though...7 hours.
