are those new fangled wipers on a Cornbinder? If so, let us know if they work better than stock with snow/ice buildup. Looked at something similar when I was there, but never bought them...they were pricey and didn't want to waste my cash on yet another piece of equipment that doesn't work like I had hoped.

yep, on a Prostar. They work good in the rain.
I got today off. They didn't send a preplan and I didn't ask. I dropped Sunday and was too tight on my 70 for anything.
Looks like if they try to get me to Indiana, I'll hit some snow.

Talked to a former Shaffer driver today. The safety Gestapo made him take the sleep apnea test in
New Kingstown or take a bus home-he lives in Oklahoma. Then they refused to send his final
paycheck because he "owed" Shaffer for the CPAP. After months of procrastination the OK labor relations
board forced Shaffer to pay up. A veteran with 20+ years OTR experience, he can't believe how
poorly he was treated at Shaffer. Another dark vision of the future from Shaffertopia.

It's a machine. They don't care. They only care about stupid slogans on the side of the trailer, and radio ads to lure in new gullible idiots. Automatic transmissions? The bar has been lowered. Maybe they'll get wheelchair ramps, too? Hire the old pharts in the retirement homes. Maybe they can have the 'Dream' fleet and hire and train the illegal aliens Obama is giving amnesty to.

They can hire welfare mothers, put some playpens in the trucks. Set up the vending machines in the break rooms to take the food stamp card.

They could call that the 'Baby Mama' fleet, and have some kind of sticker to put on the truck.

I bet they could even have the sleepers declared Section 8 housing, and get some gummint money for housing the disadvantaged?

The Acklie groups sleep apnea program is the biggest sore spot IMHO. Completely bogus. I would not have stayed if they had not accepted my CPAP unit.

Been a while since I whined about it, but I'm still pretty chapped about this ###### machine. If I had been thinking clearly before, I'd have quit...

    48Packard Thanks this.
