I'm thinking about going to hale. They have what seems like a decent lease program. Trucks have to be under 300k miles. Payments are 327 a week plus 110 maintenance 2 year company paid warranty. Anyone ever deal with them?

If this is a lease to own deal, and the trucks have under the 300,000 miles as you say, be sure to get a DOT inspection on the one you choose. Try and get that inspection at a different garage, not thiers. If this is a container company as the title says, then those trucks have probably already been through the ringer, and as such, you may be looking at more garage time than road time. Those payments will be deducted no matter what. I see that you claim to have 6 years of trucking under your belt. In all that time, you should have heard of Hale yourself. Just beware that any lease deal is always a fleece deal. Your best bet would be to buy a god used truck from a reputable company. You may have have Penske, or Ryder near you, for instance. They go through thier trucks and warranty them, as well as for some trucks an extended warranty as well.
Good luck, and maybe someone that is more familiar with Hale, will respond soon. -
Note the bold area. His years of trucking means nothing. I've been running six plus years, even ran intermodal and have never heard of Hale so that little "claim to" jab is pointless in relation to the OP's questions.

It wasn't a "JAB" so stand down. It could be "area specific" too, if Hale is near him. Maybe Hale is not near you, nor me too in fact. Here, we have Evergreen, and Maserk, Kellaway, and a couple of others that I cannot remember right now for instance. For him to even mention Hale, suggests to me, that company is near him, or has seen of them. From that, he should have been able to have known something, like what equipment they have, the condition of the equipment and so on.

Hale Intermodal is ran under "Evans Delivery Company". Do some research and some thinking before running under them. Their CSA is terrible and they're trucks are always at the scales getting in to be inspected. Oh and - stay away with from any lease program. I dont give a #### who it is!!!!!

Ok, see, this is maybe the reason why he never head of them. Name changes can make hearing of a company nearly impossible, if you never keep up with current events. Here on the east coast, we have intermodal companies and they too are not what I would call "the elite fleet", of desirable's. Far from it. I have never really ever seen ANY intermodal company trucks looking like they just came off the assembly line, except for the o/o who has a nice newer rig. Oh I do get to see the former JB Hunt cabover's, and the other branded day cabs from local companies with the old names on the doors sanded off, and those cheap letterings you buy at a hardware store, poorly placed all over the sanded area. Many times, it looks as though the guy was drunk when he applied them. But those are poor slobs that buy them cheaply, do little to no work on them. Intermodal can be a great earning's potential, but one ought to not get into any lease deal.JJKid Thanks this.

I've been a delivery drive for 6 years. I've never been a o/o.

Well please be careful. Intermodal companies don't always have good equipment. As the other guy mentioned, check thier CSA scores. If you are serious to become an o/o, then try to buy a truck on your own. God only knows the Intermodal tractors I have seen, that should be in the scrap yards. Do not forget too, that if they have a truck for a lease, it is probably one of thier original trucks they bought, maybe new, and had a gazillion drivers behind the wheel. Would you want to bank on the fact it was properly driven, much less cared for? I would NEVER take such a chance. You as a person "might" be able to lease a truck through say Ryder or Penske, but I do believe you need all your operating authority first, before such a lease can be done up.
