I haven't seen anything yet but the place I went to work for doesn't use DAC so who knows. It wasn't a great ending between me and System so if they do use it I would be scared to see what it says

You can't leave us hanging like that.
Mitmaks, it should be 3 months of solo driving before you get your .02 raise and hopefully a better Dispatcher. -
well when I quit Eric was my dispatcher and I called him up and at first gave 2 weeks notice and he put me on the phone with John and then I just decided I didn't wanna wait 2 weeks since the other place needed me sooner and he started getting like snarky and things like that and finally I just said look I quit and hung up. if I'm quitting I don't need a guilt trip and snide remarks to make things worse
Weeble Kneeble and ramblingman Thank this. -
I'm sure John gets that at least 3 times a day lol. No hard feelings I'm sure. Eric is a #### ing hot mess though. I'm surprised you lasted that long with him.
-
Eric is worse than Jeanette?
-
the only reason I lasted with him for like 6 months or longer was cause I was pulling that curtain and just running I-5 but if not I wouldn't of lasted
-
Eric is nice enough, but worthless for all intents and purposes.
Jeanette is a psychotic evil witch and slightly less useless than Eric. I think her job is to stress test the newbies because once you get some seniority she changes her tune. I would still ask for someone else if she picked up the phone by some odd circumstance.
You lose either way. If you want to do well in the company running long haul you need to be on Toby or Jims fleet IMO
Mitch is good, but needs to become more assertive. Their is a new girl, but Idk anything about her. -
Pardon the hijack, but Ruger, did you go to work for Mike Lowrie?
Rugerfan Thanks this. -
Yeah been here since may

I just hope I can last though this first year. They're reimbursing me $150 a month for tuition since I've paid for it out of my own pocket.
I was coming through Montana back to Spokane for some home time. Truck got low coolant warning light/chime. (It's been leaking coolant through hose clamps, which I've tightened up several times) Apparently there was another lower hose coolant leak that I didn't see or else I'd tighten it up as well.
Anyways I call road service and explain to them I need coolant topped off. System Transport won't allow you to top it off on your own.
They send me to Freightliner shop in Bozeman and I checked in and they say "we won't be able to take a look at it until 3-4pm and it was ~9am) I called road service again asking if I can top it off and be on my way. They tell me to just sit there and wait until shop can take a look at it as there's risk of "turbo blowing up, engine damage/failure)
I ask guy (I believe it was John) how come I get to sit there without pay and this is probably one of reasons drivers are leaving System since they have to do lots of sitting around without pay and being treated like crap. He's like "yeah, this might be the case but I'm not in charge here" I ask him how come they can't address all the issues while I'm in Spokane on my hometime.
Basically they took a look it at, found a small leak, topped it off and sent me on my way.
Also for some reason my truck consumes lots of oil. Since it had it's last oil change ~30k miles ago, I must've added at least 4 gallons just to keep it at above "fill" level. There are no leaks that I can see.
I'm supposed to go back out on another trip tomorrow, if they haven't addressed any issues with it I'll just tell Jeanette I'll be home until they fix it. There's plenty of openings in oil field, I won't have problems finding a job.
