    Very graphic and horrifying footage............

I just cant understand the speeds they were at upon impact...Even if they were only doing 40mph,(Which I doubt they were) WHY in white out conditions..Just stupid

That Last Truck came in at I'll guess 50 MPH crunching everything he slammed into.......When will people learn

Unfortuniatly they never will learn... It continues day in and day out especially in states with slow truck speed limits like Michigan they tailgate all day long...

I drive that section of road everyday. I guess I was probably an hour behind that whole thing. Police weren't letting us the highway, so I figured it was bad. There are a few sections of that stretch of road between Kalamazoo and Battle Creek that collects cars and semis alike every time we get more snow than the plows can keep up with. The wind whips thru there and often keeps the road "clear" in little 300 yard sections. Way to often those bare spots are patches of black ice.

Couple that with only 2 lanes in either direction, with a truck speed limit of 60 and a 4 wheeler limit of 70, impatient 4 wheel drive soccer parents, and a few places where the concrete divider just bounces people back into traffic, I've gotta guess it's one of the most dangerous sections of highway in the area. US 131 south bound just north of Kalamazoo is prone to black ice also. Cornfields and wind.

I-94 should be three lanes, both directions if it's going to be made any safer, at least in that section, but preferably from Indiana to Detroit. And of course everyone need to just slow the heck down and pay closer attention.

I don't usually like to sit here and critique other peoples' driving as we all have deficiencies, but the way too fast for conditions theme was way too prevalent in this video. Cars and semis alike. Notice how the R&L truck at the very end had no problems getting stopped as was moving appropriately for the conditions. Crazy.

Same video as above but longer and better quality. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W9fI5M6_XVk

It's just too many idiots are driving trucks, killing themselves nd end up killing somebody else, Having many years experience make some of us think we know everything nd think we can tailgate nd have a plan just in case something happen.

That was scary as hell watching it....its a miracle only one person got killed in that mess. Sad part is even that video won't be enough to convince people to slow down in those conditions.
