Who pays Drivers for Zero Defect DoT Inspections

We get $350 for a clean inspection.

 

That makes no sense at all. Why would they pay less for a level 1 then a level 2 or 3?

A level 1 should pay more if anything.

Is your math a bit off, or am I missing something here? Whatever, $200 bucks for just doing your job is a pretty good chunk of change.

 

$200 x 5 clean inspection in quarter 1 is $1000. 2nd quarter 5 more clean inspections $1000. 3rd quarter 5 more clean inspections get $1000 more. 4th quarter get 5 more clean inspections get $1000. Have to hit 5 clean inspection per quarter to get the $3000 bonus at the year end. I agree that is a quick easy way to scoop up $7000 bucks for just doing your job.

Not really getting paid like some guys do, but at Superior, the drivers who get clean inspections get mentioned on the CD they give out and then they draw from the names and the winner gets a gift card. I'm not sure where or how much it's for though.

 

Both my driving jobs pay me by the hour, so DOT would be doing me a huge favor if they parked me for 10 hours plus.
