Wake up this morning, ready for another day in paradise, but I can't go anywhere. Trucks on both sides of me, so I can't shimmy out of this spot. Can't pull straight out, like I (& everydambody else) normally would, courtesy of the Landstar trailer dropped in the driveway. Landing gear is down, so it doesn't appear to be an 'oops' drop, either.

Sigh.

 

I used Sni discount on the Steer tires. The guy ask me how much sni discount was and I told him. He told me he could had beaten that price. I told him I could just call sni and cancel PO#.... lol , He gave me a good deal on some drive tires Kellys Kda's $2600 out the door. I could have gotten a couple more weeks on my drive tires. I got $75 for my steer casting and $28 for my drive tires. I had some Chinese tires on my drives Long March, they were pretty descent to me. You cant get much back on your casting with a no name brand. Wingfoot guarantees $75 for casting next time I come back. I'm curious to see how much my fuel will go down.lol

 

About 5 minutes after I posted this, the driver came to get his trailer. I was scoping out the lot behind me, to see if I could back out (probably) when I heard him. Gotta give the dude credit - he actually crawled under the trailer to check the fifth wheel connection.

Parked at shipper in Gurnee, IL. Short load tomorrow delivering Thursday morning so I'm going to end up hanging out most of the day tomorrow in Gary before finishing the trip to Ft Wayne area.

 

Holy crapola SNI trucks everwhere... My whole day today, I figure SNI had taken over I70 and the pen turnpike. I sware every other truck i came apon was I/C SN.. I would have to give you guys props you have offically taken over the eastern US...

I deliver in the morning in Allantown, PA. Then head to NJ to grab a load heading back to Denver, CO. Im getting out of town before some jokers paint me prudy truck and tlr orange....
