Just a quick update as long as everything goes okay with the Dino on the truck I am purchasing I'll be heading to orientation Monday February 2 to join the family

 

Talked to a driver the other day, he went thru a CVSA inspection. Everything was fine except for the one clearance light that was out. Driver had to explain the trailer ABS light.

Seems training is a little light for some of these inspectors.

 

I agree on the training, but there is also many who will play the game and attempt to write an unjustified ticket to see if the driver has the knowledge and courage to stand up for himself and challenge him.

 

okay... i need input.... are the sliding trap systems on a step deck come high enough to clear containers...

 

hello guys, been off for a few days. I'm in Missouri getting a tripac installed. then Off to cali "again" !
KSGunny the rolltarp or conestogas don't clear the Containers. So if you get the system give up the some freight, unless it's a stepdeck.

lucar, thinking about 50' step with container locks... can a roll tarp be used on this trailer that will clear containers
