St Clair rest area last night.

As many trucks as there are ahead of me to load, it's probably gonna be North Baltimore Petro tonight. Gotta try to get back on solar hours...this semi-dfo stuff is killing me!!

Hostile, doggy style, what ever works.
About the time SNI is ruling the roost I should be in my ARI Volvo pulling shower trailers for the USFS...oh and some of those high end FEMA loads.
Thinking of doing something with SeaHawks colors...might have to get ferret stuffed and mounted on the hood...recently started considering having ferret stuffed even though there are no heath concerns and the life-span has years left in the tank...mostly it's a power struggle.

    Wheeler Ridge TA...btm of G-vine I-5

Got a message from OC about recent accidents, mentioned a SNI driver had a critical head injury from a high speed turn incident. Anyone knowing about this?

Almost hit a pedestrian in a rest area the other day; had the motor running, released the truck brake, did a tug on the king-pin, released the red button, just as I started to let off the clutch this guy pops up in front of tractor...he was tying his shoe on my bumper. He had come out of a tree service truck that had just came into the rest area and parked next to me.
Thought I got rear ended today...something must have lurched in the box when I had to brake faster than expected on I-15 in San Diego. No marks so not sure what it was...the load looked fine when it opened the doors for another in a series of live load I have been running recently.

Getting a few days off starting with Superbowl Sunday. I have decided to not run recap like I have been doing because I am going to log my hours more accurately and that precludes re-cap. More line 4 for all the live loads and unloads even though I will be logging the bulk of time line 2. I will try it for this quarter and see how it impacts my bottom line...also signed up for the FMCSA study regrading the 34 hour re-start. Won't do it if they limit my coffee intake or try to manipulate my routine; I would like to participate but I can't stop my morning routine or try to adjust the hours I run.

    2 dimes on the Hawks...giving 2 and 1/2.

Sitting in the Grass Lake rest area, mm150 wb, watching the parking lot that is I-94 this morning. Freezing rain last night and drivers (both 4-wheeler & "professional") refusing to slow down makes for more break time for mickimause. It's cleared up considerably from when I first opened my curtains at 0745, but still too many brake lights for my taste. Might go back to sleep for a bit...

    *snort*

Mickimause ALWAYS parks between the lines, if they can be detected. I do NOT play 'make a spot' with this rig. Too much risk, even empty.

And yeah, I know you were being funny...or trying to be ;)

Time to give the roads a shot...wish me luck!!
