Red Green was sure on to something. The handyman's (oops, the handyPERSON'S friend) Is there anything duct tape can't do?
It won't fix the pressure line on a power steering system. Slowed the leak, but still had to add 2 gallons of oil to make it an hour up the road to get home.
When the bill box is missing its lid
Hi windsmith, good point, as like wet toilet paper, wet duct tape is not the best. Ebola Guy did say the bills would be in a plastic bag.
Use the high quality stuff and you'll have better luck. Duck brand industrial strength stuff is my preferred balance of usefulness vs cost. I've applied placards to a wet tank before and they held just fineEbola Guy Thanks this. -
Hi PB, not so fast. I drove a Mack R model early on, and once, at night, I noticed the fuel gauge was going down fast, and when I passed cars, which wasn't too often, I noticed people were putting on their wipers, so I pulled over, and a high pressure fuel line rubbed through, spewing fuel all over. I got out the trusty duct tape, and went around the fuel line several times, then put a small hose clamp around the tape, and it got me home.windsmith Thanks this.

I've fixed fuel lines, air lines, coolant hoses, product hoses, etc... all with great success. The power steering, though, just wasn't happening.

Another reason I like pnuematic tankers, we simply insert the bills into the hot hose on the tractor side. It had a cup on the frame it attaches to, nice, dry clean....
Zip lock bags from the 99 cent sore cheep insurance, get the gallon size you can attach them to the gladhand on the front of the trailer. -
3M makes a primer that brushes on that will repel water, problem then becomes getting the duck tape off. Carry a knife.

DUCT TAPE cannot fix STUPID but it can sure muffle the SOUND

Another place to put the bills is inside the ICC bumper assuming there aren't caps on both ends....a ziploc works best but usually no harm in just rolling them up and placing them in there. To make them look presentable again just put them in the middle of the Atlas with something heavy on top of it.

Unless you pull chassis then that bill just looking pretty
I tried that duck tape but the bill box was so dirty. The tape didn't stick. Just grab the dirt and fall off. Usually ziplock, and tie it to the door pole works for me. The most unique one I saw was a little note on the bill box saying the bill was scan. Okay brother that doesn't help me lol might not even bother writing a note to me

I carry a Hilti gun. I don't trust the boxes so I just shoot the bill to the door. Sometimes I get a container that has 8 nails sticking through the door. I proudly note the fact that I've pulled that one before then nail the new one on.
