You know, that would of been great, but I was an hour down the road before I remembered you were so close. Ah well, next time. Besides it's your turn to buy, so we gotta get steaks. Waffle house when it's my turn, ruth chris steaks when it's your turn.

Sorry to hear that sir. Good to hear the customer is working with you. And if I was you (and I'm not) I really wouldn't consider you sitting still with breaks set as an accident on your part. I'd say "I had some turkey rear hit me today". But that's me. But from what I understand we have great insurance. Your tell will let me know, but I had insurance that paid for me to set during repairs.

I'll update when it's straightened out. Marty in claims told me to take it where ever I wanted, whenever I wanted and then call him and he will handle everything.

Because it's just rub rail damage I won't shut the truck down for repairs. Figure I'll just drop it off at a great dane dealer on my way home next time I'm coming through Tampa then pick it up on my way back out.

I lost $1,000 on my load today, sis had me setup Sweet with a $6,000 load to Memphis but my 4th partial wouldn't fit. Only had 7,100lbs available on the trailer and the John Deer Tractor weighed 8,300 wouldn't have been a problem if I could run spread axle in California but oh well hopefully I can get another LTL between Colorado and Memphis

Thanks, I'll be over there even after I win the lottery tonight. I know its a stupid tax, but I regulate myself and only play when its over $400 million. I figured I can buy a new 2015 W900 and afford the fuel if I have the lottery winnings in my bank account.

just a pointer for some of you new to mercer, if ya see a potential problem , speak up and let someone know before it becomes a problem. case in point, went to naples florida to load " concrete additive" to Daytona beach. turns out it was timbers using in a tenting system for a concert in Daytona beach during race week. when I saw what the guy was going to load , I called the agent and said we have a problem. now where close to weigh and they are leaving after they load me. I said I have to have asuurances that if a weight ticket pops up, its not on me. so I got my coordinator to e-mail and got it documented that customer would pay any overweight fines. customer assured the agent the load weighed 41,220 , my empty is 31,500. I hit the florida scales at 85,240 pounds. you do the math on actual load weight.

I am good because I called and had it documented beforehand. someone bought a 262.00 overweight permit , 760 more pounds and it would have to off loaded, customer only missed the weight by 13,000 or so, lol. at least I got a free pass now to Daytona.

got to say the sfl agent needs to get their act together a bit more.

I thought intrastate (ie load never leaves fl) loads in fl could be heavier.

Sfl is not just an #######. He is an incompetent #######. He is the one agent I try not to deal with.

Ah never mind. I got mixed up. They allow 44,000 on the axles but still 80,000 total.
