I think that's how they get new drivers, start a regional fleet, hire a bunch of folks and then disband it and graciously offer you OTR. Repeat when neccasary.

I'm guessing anything in the quadrant East and South of Lincoln is fair game. Isn't Lincoln the Center of the Universe?

Lone Ranger...your statement would assume they posses a map...everyone knows operations departments are forbidden from owning or allowed to be seen reading any kind of map or atlas. They would be denied membership in the OAA (Operations Association of America). Ever notice how once one company has a new rule, regulation, or method of doing something...then soon most companies are doing it the very same way...that's the OAA at work. In fact, I think it might actually be against the law in some of the states for them to have any kind of map.Last edited: Feb 20, 2015

BS (as far as the cams just going to problem drivers, and only a limited amount of trucks)
They will phase them into all the trucks eventually. They probably can't get enough to do all the trucks, now, and it would be a recruiting/retention nightmare.
How many trucks don't have the onguard system? (Only a few which have some crappy worse system they tried)
They will end up in all the Crete trucks within a few years. They have made a decision, but are playing 'smoke and mirrors' to confuse things.
They are telling lies, or being misleanding on purpose. The cams did not go strictly into the trucks of problem drivers, even in the test phase. They forced them on some drivers with good records. Stay in your fantasy world if you want to, this is what they want....until it's your turn to have a lens staring at you.
My problem is not with the cams, but as usual, with how crete manages them. Have fun! I look forward to the whines when more drivers are stuck with them.Tennesseahawk Thanks this. -
Unless you're local and home every evening or work for a private fleet with exact guidelines, expect the unexpected.Astoh and Wild Murphy Thank this. -
