If the hemorrhoids get too severe, the truck driver may need to change occupations altogether, preferably one that requires much less sitting.
This is a case of health requirements vs. monetary requirements, perhaps another job in the office or on the loading docks. Hemorrhoids can lead to much more serious health issues.

This is NOT meant to offend or insult any truck drivers, but to offer helpful advice to avoid potential health consequences "down the road".
I personally have spent most of my adult working life either standing on my feet or doing some kind of moderately physical work. It is reward vs. risk as far as one's health is concerned. Every job has it's issues and risks.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

Yep; sure not a joke to ignore, this are damaged blood vessels ; the doctor suggested to get a doughnut shaped seat something like the toilet seat ; i'm looking for some kind of foam do make a cushion on top of the seat; or i'll buy a toilet seat ,lol :)

I predict in the future drivers will stand strapped in at the steering wheel of vehicles. What better way to stay fully alert? Some farmer tractors already employ the design. They have to stand to hold the steering wheel all day plowing fields.

A lot of traditional 'sit down at a desk' jobs are raising the desks up to standing height and getting rid of the chairs. All meetings are held with everyone standing.

I had the above problem for a while took some steps to fix it and seems all better now. It's good to have a dialog about it, I'm sure many truck drivers suffer from it but are averse to speak about it.
