Not specifically with detour but every time I go to Arcadia no matter the start point it wants to go thru lacrosse/53/93. Keeps trying to reroute back to 90 until I get past baraboo exit on 94 then gets with the program when it realizes I'm going that way whether it likes it or not lol I always run 94 to x105 too but it just doesn't like that route for some reason

lol actually I was thinking about another trip and quoted the wrong one going into Arcadia but the end result is still the same......I always have it set to quickest so that would explain that.......even though in the real world the lacrosse routing isn't quicker either. The 94 x105 is the quicker route. I'm going up on that trip Monday will reset to shortest and verify routing.

Coming into the TA in Sparks Nevada, it should send you from I80 exit 18 and you're there. Instead it tries to route you around surface streets and into the back of the TA, like its not allowed on the street in front of the entrance. This happens from both directions off the 80.

    Mark....

there is an issue that would be nice.for RM to address....

there are several restricted routes that a cmv can only travel after obtaining a permit...in idaho us12 and us95 for example.

the gps will not route us across these roads even though we have the permit...

in the past i would simply change my truck settings to a straight truck to get routed there but it would be nice if the gps would route us that way after submitting some info about obtaining permits or something..

I can see some issues with this idea, but then again I can see some benefits also. I will bring it up to RM with a way to allow you to check the roads you have a permit for to allow routing.

    Thanks,
    Mark

I will ask if they removed that. Business decisions like this are not passed on for my FYI.

    Thanks,
    Mark

    PM me on the screen.

8/16 are good sizes. You can pick up a 16gb class ten usually for a few dollars more.

    Thanks,
    Mark

This happens with a handful of truck stops. Like you said, it's almost as if it doesn't see the road that comes off the freeway.
