TA no longer using liquid soap in showers?

I think it all comes down to how you are raised and how high your standards are... it really doesn't cost more to have high standards, just a little more work.

Sure you can use their soap, but it doesn't clean as well.

You can use their towel, but after looking at them, no thanks I like mine better.

If the toilet is clean I dont have a problem. But hey, I keep my toilet at home clean so maybe its just what im used to.

Food at the truck stop? Yuck, Im not against a little exercise and actually walking to get food that is healthy and well made. But then again, me and my family cook healthy awesome tasting food, so I guess its what I'm use to.

For me I've found that once someone has bettered their life they find it hard to go back.

 

it is not a question of how one was raised or high the standards are.

compulsive and obsessive behavior is a whole different animal. don't try to confuse the two.

by your statement the vast majority of people weren't raised right or don't have standards, that's laughable.

some people wont ride roller coasters because they fear it might sail off the tracks, some people wont fly because the plane might crash, some people never leave their house because they are afraid of people, some people simply do things their way.

 

And some people lock and unlock their door 10x, and when they unpack their shower bag, they have a set diagram and a set order to place everything...then they unlock and lock the shower deadbolt 10x, just to be sure it's locked. Me...I don't even lock the deadbolt...I dump my stuff out on the bench(or on the ground if they don't) sit down on the toilet without looking(a.k.a truckers roulette)....then walk around on the tile with my bare feet...I like living life dangerously.

 

Not afraid, just a higher standard.

If you like TAs standards, more power to you. Personally I think they are very low.

 

Lol, like PFJ or any other high volume chain is any different, yeah ok.

 

I thought the only reason they put towels in there was to keep the floor dry and me to walk on. Have I been doing it wrong all along? I have 6 towels in my truck, get washed every weekend and use 1 towel a day and one extra for just in case. Them showers are nothing but a sickness waiting to happen. I don't touch the walls or anything I dont have to.
