Apparently some Texas DPS inspector paid them a visit and said we should use the reset rather than recap to reduce violations due to calculating errors and put the fear of God in them.

That's what the fight I had with them in the office the day my mom died was about.

I apparently know less about logging than some ladies in the office who've never sat in a truck, imagine that.

 

Not to worry you'll be on E-logs soon enough..... For exactly the same reasons.

 

I am waiting for the day that I could make a delivery on time on the recap but can't because they told me not to do it so I can me smug about it. [emoji4]

My former coworker at Walmart got the same satisfaction when they were having reefer issues and he reminded the bosses that they fired the only one who knew anything about them.

 

I am not sure how to run without using recap. (or sleeper splits for that matter)

I did notice that there are very few SAT or Sun, Load or Unload. So hafta plan long loads for the weekends...........

 

my buddy that drives for us has decided dispatch thinks we get 75 hours in 8 days
because as he says we are always sqweesed down to the nats behind

parked at the collection center waiting on a random. Get to do both. Lucky me. Grabbed me soon as I got to the DC said it was my turn. First time I've had to do either in over 2 years. Must be something in the air lol 6 other company drivers here and 11 from other companies.

So the non-productive weeks gets a little more so. These folks ordinarily do an outstanding job of planning but this week everyone in the cube farm is acting like it's their first day on the job.

Off to to atlanta when I get out of here. Could have gotten in there early but now this is going to push me to getting in there right in the middle of rush hour.

 

Ya think the PackRat has something going on around there that he keeps quiet about? He sure seems to spend a lot of time there. I wouldn't even stop for fuel in West Memphis twenty years ago.
