Was it bobtail? There is someone here at the Carlisle OC with a grey KW that looked like they just had it washed.
On another note, Carlisle area load board looks like absolute trash.

Everywhere looks like trash..... load board really stinks right now.

You got that right. Even the midwest where I usually run is trash at the moment. Hopefully it gets better later on.

Glad I'm not the only one seeing it. IMO they've got too many ICs for the load capacity that they're got at the moment. Probably SNI testing to see just how cheap they can get people to run for. I keep saying and saying "oh it'll get better" but I'm not seeing it. No point in putting up with this for much longer. I'll give it till the end of the summer I think.mickimause Thanks this.

Looking forward to your new thread then!

LOL LIKE THIS CRAP
ST113822081
Mechanicsburg PA to Ontario CA (California)
Rate: $1.06 a mile.
Now I've seen SWIFT, etc., get bashed for $0.92/mile or whatever they get, but remember, that doesn't include fuel surcharge.
So lets take fuel surcharge of SNIs load:
Now just the load rate is:
$0.77/mile
Come on SNI do you think we're ****ing morons? Wait, no, someone will actually run that load and SNI will make an absolute fortune off of it. Who's the moron now?mickimause, drvrtech77, Fajo and 4 others Thank this. -
I snagged a load 3-4 weeks ago, Indianola, IA to Mecca, CA. 1680 miles, 1.77/mile. Seen the same run picking up 2 weeks later paying 1.33/mile. LOL, nope. For me the last 4 weeks have been pretty kick ### overall. I ended up running up in the northeast though because once I got back from CA to the midwest loads were trash so I booked a 2.60/mile run to NY and got stuck up that way for 10 days. Took a string of 4 loads at 1.45/mile each to get back to IL. Now got 3 1.80/mile loads yesterday, today and tomorrow before I go home.
Good paying loads are there, you just have to go out of your comfort zone to get them. Then again, it doesn't help that people have been overly praising the program on forums and elsewhere, which ultimately just adds more competition for that same person's business. By the way, choice sucks... LOLsadwar, Drifter42, mickimause and 1 other person Thank this. -
long loads pay garbage.
Plus I'm sure those Swift flease drivers even at .92 aren't getting 2000 mile runs.
I've been doing fine with all the short loads and stacking them up -
The good loads go quick that's why I camp the load board a lot.
I never had a problem with cheap rates. Last week I got out of the Northeast for $1.43 all miles and went into the Northeast on a load that paid $3.19 all miles a little over 300 miles from Ohio to NY.
Just thinking you'll jump on the board and all the great freight will be there waiting for you isn't gonna happen.
It take a lot of planning and searching.. at least for me but it's worth it.
