Hello, I could really use your assistance. I am looking for your suggestions, as to who you think would best represent a seasoned trucker, who has decided to exit the road after driving for over 35 years. example Kris Kristofferson? The movie will be made up of his memories on the road from truck rodeos to thanksgiving truck stops, to convoys..with great music throughout! If you could give me your suggestions I would appreciate it.
Thanks again, Keep on Trucking

SAM ELLIOTT. He's perfect. A rough voice and a tough look. That's who I would want to play me.

How bout grabbing a REAL trucker for the part?
-
Pick me!!!! Pick me!!!! -
Burt Reynolds, he is old now and I would be kinda full circle and sorta cheesey, and I for one like cheesey movies. And on the off chance you are for real and maybe lookin for extras I've got a parking lot I could put to work LOL

James Gammon. I always thought he looked like a trucker.
Like Sam Elliot, he's been in tens of Westerns and has a really rugged look, smoker's voice, looks older than he is. Played the father in the "Nash Bridges" TV show. -

Money B, thats the $64,000 question. You have hit it on the nose..In the past 6 hours we have received 6 different responses. We are going to keep reviewing the responses until we see a trend.
I personally see a strong man, respected by all, I think he should have a sense of humor, be a mechanics mechanic, a dispatchers dream , a man that walks the walk and treats his tractor like family...by the way her name is Chloe
The response's are great...thank you
