you just don't take those loads. doesn't happen enough to worry about.roshea Thanks this.

Not to mention, in my case, I kinda rushed last minute and didn't have much of a choice. I put too much time and effort into trying to get a specific truck, that when it came to time for orientation, I was still without a truck and was just scrambling to get something. It is what it is, I don't regret doing it the way I did, and one day I will go back to looking for a different truck that is a little more versatile. Until then, this one does the job and makes me a little bit of money in the process, no REAL complaints.

my truck will have a 226 WB but its for van

remember that is the rate the shipper is paying for the load, not what a truck gets after the load passes through a broker or three along the way.

Razorwyr not saying anything bad just wondering out loud. If the need arises you can stretch it. It will come in handy if you do the ups runs.

you don't need a large wheelbase to make good loads this one is paying $3.03 a mile and I only have a 232" wheelbase

what if anything do they give us for passes? EZ Pass , BestPass? do we get a pre-pass ? and if so on the pre-pass do we get green lights alot ?
-
on your final day you have the option to go by truck pay i cannot remember the lady's name but she sits behind MPACT she does the BestPass, I think it requires a $300 deposit, that includes PrePass, NorPass, & NCPass, and when they come out with their new transponder I will be getting it to replace my PikePass and Sunpass account. Don't forget to See Lisa she sits at the reception desk at the dispatch bldg, to get your Port Transponder for the West Coast and she will get you set up for your RFID tag for the East coast.
as far as PrePass goes we get Green Lights very Often, except in California we are on a 95% pull in Rate, and any Norpass State we are on a 95% pull in Rate all the other states are 5%Bigdaddy76 and OONewbie Thank this. -
or just get a prepass if ya don't want the bestpass for tolls and prepass, I got my own bestpass before mercer offered it.
OONewbie Thanks this.
