Like the cat scale app info (didn't know you could do that) but I collect the super trucker cards and like mickeyrat I enjoy getting out of the tractor.

Today I met John the west coast IC whose home is in Seattle. I mention this because of the following...he is sitting in his convertible BMW, top down, parked in front of his KW...I approached so as to inquire about food possibilities in the area; I noticed a Subway but was wanting a better option. We chated, he mentioned a few restaurants just up 167 from the yard, he asked me what I was looking for, I told him I would be happy to find a grocery store...that is when he said, "I'm not doing anything, I'll drive you to a Safeway."
Nicest guy and a very kind gesture; he even asked me if I needed to do laundry because he was going to do his.
Now that is karma.

Sitting in Sumner yard eating a Ceasars salad, an artisan como, listening to baseball on my XM radio. It's an industrial yard but it's paved and there are trees all around

 

Yeah I know....I've been in rain for 7 days straight..

Back down from Maine today....delivered in NJ, and stopped for night at Petro, Bordentown. Finally, a little sunny now. There was a couple of bad wrecks on NJ Turnpike this morning from a couple of drivers driving to fast in rain. Be careful out there.

 

Sitting at the Porter, IN TA, waiting for an inspection on my trailer. Gotta be done every 30 days, and I ain't gonna be back by the shop in time. Another of our drivers is doing the same thing, so we're gonna have dinner while we wait. If you're here, swing by the table with the two redheaded tanker yankers

Portland oc..pulled in for ice and to wash the Olympic Peninsula bug goop off my windshield...while I was doing the windows a loud bang announced to everyone my #7 trailer tire blew a side wall; turns out the 6 mth pm is also past due... laundry is added to the to do list and I will be spending the night.
If you're going to blow a tire doing it at the OC is the way to go...off to Whole Food for great bread and some chicken masala

 

Hopefully no one is in Wyoming. .they had another pileup this am west of laramie causing 80 to be shut down again..
