Monday May 4th will be my first day with Conway Freight. I will be a DSR. Looking forward to being home everyday.
I will post updates as I go through the training program. Will definitely be a change from pulling tanker...gonna miss the surge. Lol.

Driver Sales Rep. Doing local P&D. By adding sales into the title they aren't required to pay overtime.

who told you that Conway doesn't pay overtime? the only way you don't get overtime is if you are a linehaul driver. you get mileage and hourly for your dock work but p&d gets paid overtime after 8 hours daily.

Even as a linehaul driver you can still get overtime... but that means hitting the dock at an FAC for over 8 hours :biggrin_25523:

Good grief. I couldn't handle 8 hours. I usually drive 4 hours to the FAC then work the dock for 4-5 hours then drive the 4 hours back. Good money.

Heard CWF doesn't even hire a lot of dockworkers since all the drivers do most of the freight handling. Is that true?

by having sales in the title it allows them to not have to pay overtime after 40 hours. They do pay overtime after 50 hours. Sorry, should have clarified that.
