Ok I appreciate the help guys.

2015? It doesn't have a warranty? With that low miles? Or does it not cover issues.
I know issues is about pay, but you don't have to worry about "repair" bill as well? Or I should say she doesn't does she? -
I would guess the repairs are covered. The main concern is the downtime while the payments keep coming. Not to mention that if it's already causing problems then it's more trouble than it's worth.

right I was adding that when you commented. 😊

A decent company will offer a rental truck while the broke down lease truck is being repaired so the contractor can at least still make revenue.
I am an owner operator, leased onto a carrier's authority. My truck is down for about a week maybe more if they find more stuff wrong with it once they start digging into why the red stop engine light came on, so my company and I arranged to rent a Penske truck. I can get loaded back home and come back to my truck at my leisure and turn in the Penske truck at that time.Lite bug Thanks this. -
Even CR England will give rent their ICs a loaner. What kind of cheesy outfit is Celadon, anyway?scottied67 Thanks this.

The best way to fix it is to give them the truck back and hire onto a new company as "company" drivers running team

My guess is that the first lease operator had all kinds of problems with this shop queen of a truck just to get it to 17,000 miles. They gave up and turned it in and Celedon just put it back out on the For Lease line. They have to make payments on it so their priority is just to get someone to sign the dotted line and take over those payments.
I recommend just turn the truck back in, guarantee Celadon will just park it right back on the For Lease line again and some other lease ops in about a month will be on here asking for advice what to do with their shop queen truck with 25,000 miles on it.insertnamehere Thanks this. -
That's fine and the next prospering millionaire will be here asking why they are in neck deep dept... :smt117
