My truck does 65 mph, and I enjoy it. I love knowing that I can hammer down without having to worry about getting a speeding ticket. Anything 75+ earns you a call from the safety department. Plus, unless you run out west, who even needs to go that fast? Slow and steady wins the race 🐢
77fib77 and Marksteven Thank this. -

70 on cruise, 73 on the pedal, get a warning over 75.
Running intrastate in Florida, there aren't many times I would go over 75 anyway lol -
67 on cruise. 69 on foot when my idle time is below 29%. No complaints about speed unless it's 80 and over but the only place that's legal (and possible) is the westbound side of Sierra Blanca, TX, lol.

64.. and if I keep the jakebrake on with the cruise control on it automaticly kicks in around 67 or 68 and keeps speeds from climbing too high...
Ive had it up about 78 running downhill and heavy. Never had had an alarm or call from safety. ?..
Most days I set it on 63, turn on a ballgame or pandora and sit back and roll along.... -
67 on the pedal, 70 on cruise. Speed limit here in MI is 60 for trucks. Run 65 all day and never get a second look from bears.
-
That being said I run i90 between Chicago and Wisconsin pretty often and I run by those bears going 62-64 without a second look.
When I go up to Wisconsin I think a lot of these guys forget they left Illinois because they're still going 55-59 mph in a 65. (I got that onguard system so I can see their exact speed)
I run for estes btw, cruise on 66 and pedal 63. Although on hills they neutered the cummins motor so bad, I can be running with empties and still have trouble with baby hills.
