75 in a 65 zone, this is the only thing that would be on my record and it is traffic school eligible. Should I fight this or just pay the fine and do traffic school? Would it show up in my H6 if I do traffic school?

CHP caught me speeding and I don't want to take any chances with getting a point on my record. How would this affect employment prospects ? It will eventually be not for points but I think the moving violation will still show up on my record.

If you go to traffic school, it will not show up on your "short" form. It will show up on your 10 year printout -- it won't be a point, but it'll be visible...

It's my understanding that if you have a CDL you can't go to traffic school, but I've proved that wrong a few years ago when I got a ticket
in my personal vehicle and to maintain a clean CDL, I had to do community service and do traffic school.
However, you should always fight a ticket irrespective of what you were driving at the time.
    Good luck.

Fight it! Hire an attorney and fight it. Whatever he charges will be well worth the cost to keep a clean driving record. Points can also affect your personal vehicle insurance for a few years too so bear that in mind as well.
You honestly want to have that clean record! Trust me when I tell you this, k?

Traffic tickets are a slam dunk. Never pay a ticket, call a traffic Lawyer that advertises services to CDL holders. They will get it tossed or reduced to a 2 or 3 mph over the posted limit. It will cost you a few bucks but it's worth every penny.

DO NOT PAY IT. See what your options are. Yes you were speeding, but the system is in place to have it reduced, so find out how to do so.

Find one of those traffic law legal firms. It'll cost you a little extra but they'll get your moving violation knocked down to a "defective equipment" ticket that doesn't count against you.
