Looking for current info on Dillon transport. How are they to work for, pay and equipment? They are running ads for local drivers in Atlanta, GA. I have sent a email to the recruiter but would like to hear from current or past drivers. Thanks for any info.

Saw their billboard in CA a while back - they were quoting some fairly high averages . . . but again, the usual mathematic trick.
I'd be interested to hear too. -
They advertise on CL in Chicago every day I was also wondering about them... Thinking if they have to advertise daily it cant be the best...

I have not heard anything from the recruiter. I may try calling tomorrow. If I get any info I will post an update.

thanks......

I have worked for Dillon and can tell you that the earnings quoted by the advertisements and recruiteres are based on perfect days maxing out your hours and working on your 6th day.

They wear out CL in the area where I live. They advertise not only for drivers, but dispatchers , managers and service managers. If these companies would raise the pay, they would have drivers knocking down the door to get in.

Dillon has the tag line in the tanker industry as "A leader less company". They are so busy putting out fires that they don't really manage anything causing lots of self inflicted problems which trickles down to the driver. They have no focus on driver retention only getting new drivers to fill the empty positions. This type of attitude shows Dillon as a company who just doesn't care about its drivers.
HalpinUout Thanks this. -

They are always hiring here, out of Lodi Ohio....promise $1200/week. I'm good with what I'm doing, so not checking them out, but . . . yeah they seem "needy" . . . which isn't good usually. JM2c.
