I'd take a look at my previous advice, its worth a shot. I've known of a guy who kept a SERIOUS one off the record, and kept his job. Right or wrong, it happens.
If not, then just start beating down doors - locally, smaller outfits.
Otherwise its WE, Carolina Cargo.
Good luck. Drive carefully.Stormmc2 Thanks this. -
Not scolding. I really would like to see you become good at what you do. Give first class service to whomever give you a second chance. Peace.Stormmc2 Thanks this.

So far I have called Millis Transfer to ask if anyone has reviewed my application and the lady said "ohh yes its been reviewed, it was denied, they choose better applications.".... I was like okay thanks!
Jerk. geez. Could have at least called!
I also called Carolina Cargo and left a message a few moments ago.
Anyone else have any helping hands? -
I wouldn't say they're jerks. They have standards. Just like you or I or anyone else. Now Carolina cargo is one of the worst. Martin of the Carolinas is a close second while Westrern Express is third. I would try for Western. But remember that your record is the problem. Not the companies.
-
You know. I was just reading another post on the forum about Carolina Cargo and you were dogging on them too. Did you go there or something?
-
No. I never had to work at a place like that. But paying people literal slave wages with bad equipment and breaking every law in the book is not helping people. Exploiting and using people because they made mistakes, even though they may be bad people still isn't right. Most of the people going to Carolina Cargo are felons. And felons who are at least trying to make a better life for themselves. Exploiting them isn't going to help them.
-
Then lucky you. I'm not a felon, not saying that you said I am, but my MVR isn't the cleanest. obliviously, Hence the title.
Western Express was not offering a very nice package. They have 'SLAVERY' wages to. So what the hell is so great about them to Carolina Cargo? -
It pays $375 a week with your trainer, then you’ll make $.15 cents per mile on all miles when you’re with a partner. Once we bring you on, we’ll pay $.30 cpm but will withhold $.04 cents from each mile in an escrow account for 9 months. During that time it will be like you’re making $.26 cpm. At the end of the 9 months, we’ll give you all that money back as a retention bonus, and then you’ll be making the full $.30cpm.
That is what MY recruiter sent to me. -
They're not great. But number one, Carolina Cargo is a team only company with pay at .10 a mile. That's right. Ten cents. And you'll be teaming, most likely with a dude. At least at Western the pay is a little better and you don't have to team with guy who just got out of prison.
