No - the XDN's have good tread, what do you think is fair? I was thinking $200 each - they've got 75% tread or better, set of 4.

The 720's a friend can use to pass an inspection, he's signing on here shortly.

The 2 steers will be trailer spares, once I get a rack on the trailer for them.

Quoted me $275 each for the XDN2, and $40 tire everything else. I'll give the 720's to Matty for free, keep a steer each for a trailer spare. $1100 off the $4000 tires gives me new feet on the tractor for $2900, $290/tire.

    XDN2's had awful rolling resistance.

Back up there tomorrow AM to drop off rental car, pick up truck and return home, change oil , BBQ, set generator and tower AC unit, then back to work.

Sister in law still sleeping. Say some whatever's for her, she needs it.

Sounds like a good deal. I can't use tractor tires on my trailer. I think you'll find trailer tires aren't much of a problem since your the only on pulling it.
Sounds like you and DY are spending all you money so won't be able to borrow any, guess I need to hit the road.

The XTE trailer so far are doing very well - 35k and not a sign of any scrub or wear. I dump that axle about wherever I go, loaded and empty.

Yeah - we'd both apprecciate it if you got out there and shifted some freight, we promise we'll get back to work and do it twice as hard when our rigs are fixed so you cn get back to playing with the RC cars with the grandkids :)

Not quite, I had to haul a second load in the same week. You best haul all you can I'll be off nurse duty in a few weeks and will be hogging all the good freight.

I have the BS 710 tires and they are wearing quite well, I think they hold too many rocks in the tread, especially when they were new, May or may not help your fuel milage until you get some miles on them. I keep mine at 110 psi. You should not have to buy any tires for 2 to 3 years or more if you slow down.
