Well sitting in Cloumbus, GA waiting to unload the last three palette on this load..

Then up to Forest Park, GA to pick-up a load that has three stops, Dallas area,Spokane, and Tacoma..

Now, I was told ther was a quick stop between Forest Park and Spokan, did not know that was Dallas until after I excepted the load.. Lol /

oh well a few more nights in this miserable heat then back up to the north where I belong..

Terri how was a driver advocate, moved and is now in charge of East Coast, she set the load up for me. Seems like a really nice young lady.. She loaded this trip up heavier on the fuel side for me, so less money for Bruegner.. That helps off set a lot.. I should make about $2,300. For this trip after all expenses are paid.. The key will be Rout Planning fuel stops based on company discounts..

Lots of work to figure this one out, let you all know how it turned out!!

 

Where else would you be, lazy truck drivers .. Lol... This is a ConAgra load, it delivers in Spokane on Wen, and Tacoma on Thursday... I'll be looking for you man..

 

I will not name the company but the it rhymes with C.R. E******, pull in to a fuel island and about run the darn pump over..

I was looking at the driver who was pulling into this 10' space, and his expression said it all.. You would of thought he was backing over a 6' wide 20 story bridge, backwards..

Is this common to come out of truck driving school with the inabilitie to drive an automatic truck foward??

Well it has happened, well kind of!! Noticed I was using about 1/4 of a gallon of antifreeze every day or two..

I was going through Wichita, KS to have the trailer brakes adjusted, and needed a tire looked at, while there I asked one of the shop mechanics if I could get my radiator system pressureized to help find leak..
He pressurized the system and told me that he could not see no leak, but I was losing all the pressure.. Well great!! He looked and noticed my EGR COOLER, was still cummins red and asked how many miles the motor had on it, I told him 430000.. He hooked up the computer to diagnose the motor and sure enough active fault is EGR COOLER..

Well I guess I have something to spend all that money up I have been saving for this day. Called around and it looks like I will spend about $1,300 for the Cooler and about $800.00 to $1000 for labor..

But first I need to get this load to Washinton and bring a load back this way..
Mechanic seemed to think I might have a little time left before I have to have it repaired..

I spoke to Hoyt Repair in Topeka, KS and they insured me that they could have me in and out by day two of dropping of the truck.. She also stated that they have Cummings Certified Mechanics on stag who would perform the work..

Not only have I saved some money aside for this day, I should also have about $1000 dollars in my maintance account as well, so I might walk away from this without too much of a headache.

Now just need a little luck to get up to Washington make my drops and find a load back to the house, I guess I could use a few days at home anyway..

Well I did get a quote for $13,000 to remove the whole system.. Lol.. What can you do, it's truck driving?? Lol .. I'll keep my fingers crossed!!
