Do you not have the 500,000 warranty? All my emission junk was completely replaced just under 500,000 miles-- only cost me $475 for shop supplies which is funny because in the months leading up to the big derate the truck had been in the shops several times for re-flash ECM or whatever--- always a $475 charge then 50 miles down the road the check engine light would come back on. Finally just drove it til it wouldn't go anymore and as fate would have it, it happened right next to a Kenworth shop.

I'll have to call the shop on Monday and see if they purchasers the 500,000 mile warranty.. That would be awesome if by any chance they did.. Lol

I'm banking on the fact that it was just a standard 250,00 mile.. But you never know it could of happened, they say Butch Bruegner bought good equipment. This truck should of been about how the end of his time frame..

But if it is covered it would be a blessing from above, thanks letting me know about the extended warranty..

He's right, friend of mine with an '09 Prostar lost his EGR, Turbo and DPF system in St. Louis ignoring that problem. Cost him 14K in parts and labor.

I don't care what anyone thinks, I love this job.. Even tho I'm looking at a $2500 to $5000 dollars repair next week, even tho I blew a tire in the mountains yeasterday, and now just blew my seal on the rear axel, this job is simply amazing.

I am just in awh at how luck we are to see And experience the amazing things God has created while on the road.

I come across lots of folks who get stressed out over little things, I'm thankful to have my family and friends and a job that allowed me to provide for my family even when my truck wants some of the money.. Lol

It's very inportian if you decide to do a L/P to stay positive and focused, it's also inportian to remember this is just a job, take it day by day, breath deep and smile big!! I'm probably say this for myself.. Lol

Any way moving on, my truck is running good, I have lost about 2 cups of antifreeze coming to Wa, so very thankful it's not worse that it could be.

I also spoke to Aaron the operations manager and he was very helpful and in essence made it clear that Bruegner would be there to help me in anyway it could. I have never spoken with Aaron, but I appreciate that he took the time to focus on my situation and also gave me some advice while looking for service provider to repair the unit.

I explained to him that this issue has been present from the time I received the truck and that the mechanic (that got fired) never did much about it (thank goodness for the young man who did his job). So Bruegner may help with some of the cost, which will be nice if I need a DPF filter and system baked..

Anyway, communication is the key, well, effective communication is the key, uv heard a lot of drivers say that Bruegner will not leave you stranded and today I feel very blessed to be in busyness with them..

That was a lease truck I had with ATS. It was only a 52 week lease but I loved it. That DD15 under the hood got 6.5 to 8.5mpg depending on the weight too. These days I'm in a W900 with a ISX 450. Nice looking tractor but I have to do 63mph just to get 6.5mpg lol.
