Lol yes. PA (where I am now) can be a pain but not impossible. But good luck, just work the board something will pop. If you have an area that u are trying to go, call the agent and ask if they can find something.![]()

I'm loading for PA. Almost got suckered into going to Rhode Island or Maine. I opted for PA. I got my NY fix last week. Although the rates going in was ridiculously good.
-
It can be hard to pass on those rates
but every time I don't pass I kick myself later. Seems almost everything out of PA is for the NE area right now. Had a few good loads heading back to the Ohio Valley but I'm too low on the board. Well I got paid well to come here so I can't complain.

you've cut out a huge portion of the country by not going out that way. I live in NC and spend 80% of my time hauling loads up this way in PA, never have a problem getting freight. Probably because "nobody wants to go NE" which leaves plenty for those who do. I have agents calling me daily begging to take loads up here. Also not all "available" freight is posted because the agents don't accept the loads from the shippers, knowing there are not enough drivers. Skateboardman comes this way all the time and is always planned several loads ahead. Others as well, you are either being too particular about the freight you will accept, or need to get more aggressive looking for loads.TaylorMade407 Thanks this.

You just changed my whole mind frame with this post. Not that I've been one to shy away from the dreaded NE but watching the board there is money to be made up there and I could do real good giving that it doesn't stress me out going up that way
-
ur doing flat or van? For van we have loads that go that way and come out but most are very cheap like 1.70 going in and some are 1.40 going out? and when u add tolls into that i wont do it cuz ur not making money.Lucar Thanks this.

Flats. And you can run around a whole lot of PA & NJ with minimal tolls for the most part. Some locations though there's not much choice.
