This was humor on Chinatown's part. I did not apply to or get selected by any trucking company at all.
Perhaps, "down the road", I really will be able to thank you for your congratulations.

God bless you and your family! God bless the U.S.A.!

Yes, we'll all meet at the salad bar at Petro and "mje" can fill us in on his Navy Seal days and the brief period he was an assassin for the CIA.

I disagree with virtually everything you stated here, but i appreciate your civility.

I prefer to run team (I thought I would hate it it until my spouse started coming with me and we loved it, and now we're both driving and it rules). I love my animals and couldn't imagine life without them. The odd time we do something local and leave them at home for the night, we miss them. The next day they are glued to our sides, which makes me believe they missed us.

Contrary to people who point out places at don't allow animals, I see more places that don't allow passengers than pets. We have 3 customers that make you leave a passenger on the sidewalk in front of their warehouse and none that have an issue with pets.

We stay in hotels probably one night a month and any hotel with truck parking has always allowed pets. Can't pull my truck up to the kinds of places that don't allow pets.

If I was fired on the road somewhere (unlikely, since our company doesn't have a bajillion drivers to pick up trucks all over North America and only a dozen teams who could accomplish that) I would buy a plane ticket for my spouse and I and each of us would check a cat with our luggage.

The trickiest part would be re ting a car with pets, and granted we may lose a $50 deposit if they find hair in the car.

My husband is currently working for swift. He is a new driver and already is having so many problems with this company. I am riding along with him as well. We have family looking after our Doberman but we really want to bring her with us since we are hardly ever home. Every company seems to be so set on how "Dobermans" are so aggressive. Our Doberman has never bit anyone and the only thing she has going against her is that she is too friendly and loves giving kisses to anyone. Hell a poodle, Maltese, or yorkie can be aggressive, it's all in how a dog is raised. We have a 3 year old and trust me I wouldn't dare put her in harms way if I had any doubt in my mind about our dobie. I guess my question is, is there any company out there that someone knows of that will allow a teddy bear Doberman plus a rider??? Doesn't matter the deposit because there is no price too big for our living dobie. Thanks in advance everyone!
