Believe it or not, a roll over is grounds for automatic termination if there was not another vehicle involved that caused it. I argued one day and saying what if all of a sudden a gust of wind. I lost the argument.
Drive Cam round one.

I would be willing to bet if you were parked and the wind took the still vehicle over they couldn't fire you.
You were parked. However swift overall is a cheap ### company, I wonder how many cam lawsuits it's gonna take for them to drop them -

I have a camera in mine already, but it only faces outward. It could record sound because there are some vents on the plastic, but I have inspected inside the cab and I do not see an inward facing lens. Its a '16 freight. Standard truck. I think I would suffer from anxiety knowing I had an inward facing camera watching my every move and, yes I would ultimately decide to quit because besides my privacy, I would just feel threatened by it.
This is probably what the cops are dealing with when the government wants cameras on their bodies. Offices at certain jobs have cameras to thwart thefts and other crimes.
Either way, driving a truck is very critical and it takes a very responsible person to drive one all day long without hurting the public. With that said, outside cameras are cool. But inside cameras, would only be ok if we knew for a fact (with proven proof) that the video feeds were recorded the way they have told us it is. But if what the first guy writes, on how it records 24/7 and it archives the footage, and it can be used to dictate any judgment if you had an accident then, yea, not cool.Last edited: Jun 25, 2015

With the driver facing cam in high wind and flipped over-- they would say 'why didn't you pull over?' Pulled over and flipped over, 'why were you stopped on the side of the highway?' Driver preventable Driver fired.
