    Two things.
two days ago, I left my cell phone on the bumper of my truck. I don't know how it stayed. I drove 3 miles and realized I didn't have my phone. I pulled over to check my trailer (with rental trencher on it) and there was my phone. Whewww.

This has happened to me 2 times now. I tarped a customers equipment and didn't need a 3rd tarp, so I left it on the headache rack. I have driven off 2 times each over 100 miles and remembered I didn't strap the tarp down on the rack. Pulled over and the tarp didn't move. Lucky Lucky Lucky..

That's why you only grab your winch bar once.

I've been good so far, but I have a terrible case of "Did I leave the stove on?" OCD.

    You and me both.
With my winch bar, if I ever laid it on the deck I always left half of it hanging off the side of the trailer, you always see that in your mirrors.

Or just don't lay it on your deck to begin with. Do all your straps, then grab the bar once.

Someone left a shop rag in the radiator inlet of my Pete. Does that count?

I'm pretty sure it's rated for the pressure so it's a performance enhancer not left behind equipment.

I could be wrong though. I'm a driver not a mechanic.
