Thermo King error code 25 troubleshooting help

    Reefer will run for 30/45 then cut off. clear code 25 , starts up, repeats . voltage on alt is 14.6 when running. replaced start stop switch, still having same problem. Any info will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Johnny

    It is an alternator code--so start w/small stuff--belt tigthness--connections etc....and have you cleared code and run in cont mode to see what happens? could also be bad sensor--but troubleshoot small obvious stuff 1st

    belt is pretty worn, adjustment to the end but it is tight, running in cont mode. seems weird cause she will run like i said for 30 to 45 minutes , then shut off

    Replace belt, have alternator checked, check amps it's pulling, check battery and connections.

    Have yo ever cut the diode out of the alt harness, and ran it that way?

    I'm having the same issue with code 25, brand new alternator, brand new belt, brand new battery. My reefer still runs and temps drop normal, no issue with the reefer cutting off, just the code 25 popping up every 30-45 minutes
