I hear you about not wanting to get busted. What I'm saying is that it's hypocritical to say one means of altering ones mind is okay but another isn't. And that pot Has far less negative effects on a persons motor skills and judgement then alcohol.

But alcohol sales dont supply money to the drug cartels that smuggle that crap into the nation. Alcohol doesnt enable those very same cartels to supply money to terrorists to murder american law makers on US soil. Thats what alot of you pot supporters forget, the cartels supply the greater amount of pot to the US than home growers do. I agree that if it was legal through out the country, youll have people that will still try to grow their own without govt oversight which is the black market, the same exact place that the Cartels operate.

95% of pot is grown here in the USA now maybe 5 years ago it was the other way around with the cartels shipping it over but now they bring in the harder drugs. Since MJ is sold and grown "legally" in most states now it's really now use to paying more from the cartel.

THATS BECAUSE ALCOHOL IS LEGAL!!!!! Legalize pot, goodbye cartels. No money to be made illegally if pot was made legal.

Kids aren't Smoking Pot these days they are doing Pills and that is what the Cartels are bringing in.

My son died 5 years ago from a Oxycontin overdose. Since than 3 of his friends he ran with died of the same thing, pretty hard to go to funerals and tell these parents Been there done it and we are living it.

That pain you are feeling will be with you forever and may gradually subside a tiny bit after 4 or 5 years.

You're right. Kids today pretty much don't smoke pot as much as they used to. When I was coming up, it was all pot and mushrooms/acid/mescaline. Now it's pills, freon, dust off and bath salts. The government puts bad press out there for safer mind altering substances like pot and the masses fall for it. Opening markets for "legal highs" which is nothing but government created deadly poison. "don't smoke that evil plant that grows from the ground. Instead take this lab manufactured pill whose side effects are nothing short of madness, or snort this "legal" coke that turns you into a raving flesh eating lunatic or huff on some computer duster and fry all your brain cells in one fell swoop". It's an agenda. To dumb down and hurt people. And it's working because people are falling for it. I'm so sorry to hear about your son. This is all too common of a problem today. And the media doesn't speak of it. It's an epidemic. I know two people who lost their kids to pils as well. And COUNTLESS others whose lives have been ruined or ended due to alcohol. Funny, I don't know anyone who has ruined their life or died from smoking pot. Hmmmmmmm.

Regardless of how illegal or who does what, it doesn't change the fact that pot is illegal. This is the last I'm gonna say on this song how so many of you have no issue with it. It's proven fact that it effects your fine motor skills and decision making, that alone should be the end of the discussion. It doesn't matter that alcohol is worse for you. Colorado has already seen an increase of traffic accidents by people who are dui.

A truck driver who totally abstains from ALL alcohol and drugs, along with NOT being around any of it, has the best chance of staying out of all kinds of trouble.
