Anyone ever use one of these or a humper dumper? Getting tired of scraping dirt out of the bed and having to rock the truck to get dirt to dump. Wondering how good they work.

Hope that helps.austinmike, Erick Evans, xlsdraw and 9 others Thank this. -

My fiancée slapped me when I asked...paul_4lp, magoo68, Erick Evans and 3 others Thank this. -
Darn dude, you are one kinky mofo. Just saying.

Best of luck getting a serious answer...
Logically I think you're wasting your money. You're always going to have to get back there or bang against something to get it to work or get clean. If you just want the majority gone then that's different.
Look on the bright side! It's good to get out of the cab!
P.s. - I would google it and try to help, but Google has a far more filthy mind than us all combined.paul_4lp and The Patriot Thank this. -
Some of the hydro vac trucks at a previous job I worked at had a vibrator setup on the bottom of the tanks. They seemed to work alright when dumping mud (wet dirt, not drilling fluid). I don't know how well it'd work with dry materials though. They also didn't seem to last very long as they weren't designed for continuous use.

I have no idea why but when I read your reply I Googled it and now my eyes are burning after seeing a granny(cougar) with a vibrator...loljoseph1135 and AModelCat Thank this.

In theory it would work nicely. On my pneumatic tankers we have vibrators that help unload. I've een around train cars when they're vibrating. #### they're loud! Make your heart race and you can feel the vibrations through the air. I know your talking about dumps but I still see it working. Hell, there are chocolate tankers out there that vibrate to get the liquid off.
paul_4lp Thanks this. -
