The Van loads that are available on http://www.mercer-trans.com/available-loads.html , are the loads that no one wants to haul?
Any Mercer VAN drivers out there?

I would like some input on this also. Looks like on available loads on Mercertown for Vans is pretty scarce.Last edited: Jul 30, 2015

is it strictly O/O what if you do not own a truck can you lease
-
If you get approved to work at Mercer you can lease a truck through quality . But alot of guys on van at Mercer are either quitting or flip in over to flats.
-
Why are they quitting pr flipping to flatbed
-
Van rates compared to flat rates don't even compare on numerous occasions. Read the mercer thread you'll see.
-
If you're thinking and coming to Mercer on the Van DONOT waste your time.. Either do flatbed here or go to a company that does Van Freight. Ie SNI,Landstar,RR, etc...
-
Just because it didn't work for you didn't mean it won't work for everyone. I've met quite a few guys out on the road that are just as happy on the van side as I am on the flat side. it really just boils down to no company is ever going to be perfect for everyone. Just no such thing as one size fits all when it comes to trucking.

That's true. But you have to admit that there's been more that 1 van driver that has had switch over to flatbed because they were struggling on the van side at Mercer.
