Truckers Path

Useful if you're in a bind and need to dodge a coop

 

I'd never actually use it if I didn't want to get caught. Those times you actually need to route around scales.

 

It's really good for finding truck stops in unfamiliar territory.down side is
a-holes lying about the parking situations and scales.I could care less about the scales.if I did I wouldn't be any where around them anyway.people will be a mile from the scale asking if they are open, as if they gonna go around.gimme a break.

 

I ask so I know if I can hammer down in the left lane or not, all the megas like to slow to 55 or so and cut off and pile up when approaching the coop, I dont got time for that nonsense.

 

True, and worse they'll stop in the middle of thedang road.our the sign will say maintain 20mph and they'll go 5

 

The only thing I don't like about it is that it picks odd times to realize you are at a certain truck stop...it doesn't ask about parking until either you're parked and laying down or on your way out. Other than that, I like using it.

 

ive had this in my phone for a few months now and it is very helpful although i dont take much stock in what some these winey newbies have to say about truckstops in the reviews .
sorry girls but its a truckstop not a 5 star resort and sorry they dont roll out a red carpet when you arrive at the fuel island .
those of us that have been at this and still are at this for 30 years or so remember when there wasnt a truckstop on every corner
the manners and commen courtesy i see out of some younger drivers is horrible and ya get what ya give and quit wineing .
just because you are a truck driver doesent mean the world owes you somthing .

 

I love reading the reviews,
Like the ones on how the parking lot smells like urine, and the next one pointing out that it's not the truck stop employees pissing in the lot.

 

Neverr read the reviews.

But then, all i care is that i have a place to take a nap. But if i'm going to be extending my visit. Some food, preferable decent, also. I like the one location truckstops with a restaurant.
