    That's true but if they had drivers who wanted live loads they'd schedule them as live loads and then that'd free up more company trailers.

    Then you'd not have such bad luck with finding one with tandems you can slide.

    What would be cool but would never happen is to put a relay option on loads going into markets where Schneider has local/regional drivers.

    Say for example you pick up a load on Friday going 700 miles to Chicago to live unload on Monday.
    Well how about have an IC have to option to drop it at Gary on the weekend for a local driver to deliver Monday.
    Sure they'd have to figure out the pay factor but it's currently done now anyways with relays.. we just don't have any say in it really.
    That way it could keep OTR driver rolling easier and local drivers busy!

    It'll never happen... just like Schneider will never get rid of TA9 series trailers but hey we can dream right!

    Schneider can't control the fact that shippers tend to be a bunch of slackers when it comes to loading trailers on time. Of course improved communication between customer service and the shipper would be nice, but then again customer service gets ready times from some place and if they aren't accurate they obviously didn't pull them out of their butts. The shipper screws those issues up.
