Funny you should mention them, I called them and the recruiter acted like the ones at USX. I never even filled out applications for either. Ah yes, those were the days.

I can't laugh at what happened in post#15 because ive done it more then once.Only I got lucky and didn't rip the ends completely off

 

I've done it a couple of times myself. You get in a habit of doing things a certain way and then if something interrupts that way of doing things you make mistakes.

 

yep or you get in a hurry.Last time I did it was at Tyson.I wanted to hurry and drop my loaded trl and get the last empty before another driver grabbed it otherwise I would have had to wait at least an hr before the next mt was unloaded and washed.I lowered the landing gear pulled the fifth wheel handle and off I went still hooked.Stretch the lines a bit but that's all I did.I didn't know I forgot about the airlines till I hooked onto the mt and there was the lines dragging.on the ground.

 

I think my brain just melted.

 

I shattered the back window on a day cab when they let loose. Learned from that one, hasn't happened since
