Still at home. Got both windshields replaced yesterday then dropped my truck at the dealer to fix some issues I've been having.
FWIW, I've called the planners directly twice now and both times I've gotten loads. Both times I waited until the day I was set to deliver before calling. -

Seems like I FINIALLY got Freightliner of AZ to fix 2 items that have caused me untold grief for months.
We shall see. -

I paid the kid at the mall windshield 'fix it' place $25 bucks to fix my two stars.

Here in Colby, KS. Picked up a very old trailer today. A W series roll up door. Glad that I am t-calling this in Edwardsville. Landing gear is tight and the driver dropped it high. Almost 3 inches off my 5th wheel so luckily the yard dog came and hooked it up and pulled it out some so that could dolly it down. This morning nice winds out of the SSW while I was going west with 3k in the trailer and then start to head east on I-70 and of course the winds shifted. Now out of the SSE and 43k in the box and the wide open fields of CO and KS

Doing a strict 10 in Edwardsville. This was the closest place I could get parking before my 14 ran out after picking up my current load. Can't wait to get out of here.
Rolled almost nonstop from Lancaster TX to Ottawa KS to get my drop done on time. Then took off for Spring Hill KS for another D&H going to University Park IL, just south of Chicago on I57, to be dropped just after lunch. The truck grossed at 79.9k lbs on the scale with 3/4 tanks. My poor gutless PornStar is struggling to pull it. Swifts routing to the receiver was completely ridiculous, as usual. 450 miles of 2-lane to save a whopping 12 miles instead of I-70 east then I-57N straight to the customers door. I'll be taking the freeway.
Mac30 is mty as usual. I don't think the Manteno planners ever put anything in there. I should have at least 3hrs on my 11 and a fairly fresh 70 when I drop so I know it's not me. I fully expect to get hung with a uber heavy Costco with too much time on it or a load to Walmart in Sterling IL. Those seem to be the favorite crap loads to throw on Company drivers the past several months. You'd think Swift has no other freight in Chi-Town thanks to Manteno. -
New Jersey turnpike.
What a fun day. I got stuck in traffic for several hours just before the GW bridge. It doesn't matter for the load however because it has large windows at both ends.
I shut down with 3 minutes to spare on my 70. I was really milking those hours today, to be sure.
I had a load to CT that delivered this morning. Last night I sent a mac 30, even though I am back down to Gold.
I actually got a load offer that stuck. A nice 13k load headed for NC on Sunday.
The only bad thing was it picked up in NJ. I really hate this area.
Tomorrow will be a nice and easy day. I only have 5 hours coming back in, so it is late to rise and early to stop.
An overdue shower will be nice, too.HousTank Thanks this.
