Well, I was on the job in California, and even though I worked in "cow counties," I never had any complaint about the pay. Sure, more would have been nice, but I raised my kids, without having to take a second job, and my (at that time) wife did not have to work.
Of course, I worked my share of overtime, but I was never an overtime #####, like some of the folks were.
Now this is ironic!

I loathe people that like to hide in my shadow as you say... Semi drivers are stupid enough to do it, but at least I can see them. 4-wheelers on the other hand, I can't see them often enough without "wagging" my trailer a bit. -
